Long time no post

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since our last post. Every other day I would think to myself about blogging, but in the end it always got pushed to the "tomorrow-to-do-list". Sometimes, it just seems that maybe we don't have that interesting of a life and why would anyone want to read what I have to say. Anyways, here is a bit of a review. We found a small little trailer that we can haul our 4-wheelers around on and we are looking forward to going to So. Utah this weekend to ride, see family, and bring them back. It has been getting warmer which makes me excited for summer and shorts, although, I still haven't lost my holiday and post holiday weight so it would be nice if I could wear winter clothes a little longer. :) Oh well, maybe now I will get motivated. There are some really cute summer clothes that, if I didn't feel guilty about spending the money, I would probably go buy. There has been progress made on our travel plans to Costa Rica, but other than the plane tickets nothing else is decided. Also, we had a good time helping Matt and Amy move into there new house a couple of weekends ago. It was really kind of fun to get to see everyone, and hey there was free pizza-thanks Matt.

The other night I finally finished reading "Kite Runner" a book that Julia let me borrow. The book was pretty capturing and holds your interest. It is one of those books that you wish had a happier ending, but in real life there aren't always happy endings are there. Rivers probably won't have time to read it, instead we will probably get the DVD from Redbox and watch it. At least then he can understand a little of the story. When I learn of the way that some people have to live and realize the comforts that we have it makes me feel torn. A part of me thinks I should be some forerunner of a non profit organization that works in foreign affairs, yet another side of me wants to forget and pretend these atrocities aren't happening so that I can enjoy my somewhat taken for granted life. Maybe, that is why we want to adopt.

Easter Weekend we spent most of the time up at our Ogden house painting and the week before we had the chance to spend some time with the Wiley's and go shooting. We got some pretty cool pic's of Nate's new gun and I promise to post more on that, but not today-maybe "tomorrow"
