We are alive!

Alright, I think I am going to get myself in trouble if I don't post something. Even as I sit down to write something at 5:30 in the evening, I can't supress my yawns. We returned on Saturday from an amazing trip to Italy, yet I feel like I don't want to do anything other than the essentials. Thanks to my incredible husband the bags atleast are unpacked, thanks Babe. However, all of my stuff that he wasn't sure what to do with, is still in a pile on the floor. From a joint effort we have done 2 loads of laundry (so we are wearing clean clothes :). And I am now very grateful for the dinners I froze before leaving.

We got in Saturday night and after a refreshing shower we both went straight to bed. We slept a good 9 hours and then had all day Sunday to re coop. Still it is hard to come back after two weeks and want to delve back into life. Something must have hit us yesterday because when Rivers got home from work we were both exhausted. After little persuasion Rivers had talked me into taking just a small nap (1 hour max) this was at about 5:15pm. He assured me we would both feel better and be able to get the stuff done that we needed to afterwards. We entered what we call the cave and I don't remember anything until 1:30am when I awoke completely disoriented. I still thought I needed to get up and make dinner. At that point I was quite frustrated with myself because not only had I wasted the entire evening, but then I ended up waking so early that I knew it would only throw us off more.

So here is a quick list of things that are on my list to do:
- clean house
- laundry
- pay countrywide bill
- post pic's of Italy
- create a photo book of our trip

I can relate to the unplanned long nap thing. I have been sick with a head cold for a few days and every time I lay down for a minute so my head will stop spinning I wake up hours later. It's really confusing and I am having a hard time getting anything done. Post pics soon!

So I know I am late in commenting, but it makes me laugh that you guys just crashed that day/night. I hate that feeling of being disoriented, but I'm pretty sure you needed to sleep.
