The view behind our house is amazing. We feel very lucky that we get to live in such a nice neighborhood in Sandy. The houses here are way out of our price range and if we weren't renting a basement apartment we would not be able to live in such a neat area. Anyway, it was kind of a rainy gloomy day all day on Saturday, but then Sunday afternoon the sun came out. I just thought that the mountains looked beautiful with the first hints of snow on the tips. I am not quite ready for winter yet, but I am totally enjoying Fall.

Oh I love those pics. And yeah even though it is easier to dress the kids in summer clothes, fall is pretty fun too.
I miss Utah's October. Nothing has really changed here in Kansas. There aren't any mountains to show early snowfall and changing trees. These pictures are beautiful. I'm so glad you like your neighborhood.
Yeah your neighborhood is way nice, like movie kind of nice. It actually reminds me of Home alone for some reason, but anyway. I'm glad the snow is just on the mountains, driving up north in the non-summer always scares me.
That's so funny that you took these pictures and posted about them, because I had the thought "I should take a picture of the snow-capped mountains and put them on my blog". Of course yours are a lot closer than mine would be. They have been so beautiful. I hope fall sticks around for a while.
I know, don't you love this weather?? I wish it would last longer! Can't wait for Lagoon with you guys!!
It still looks (and feels) the height of summer hear. I have been feeling like we are living in a perpetual summer actually. I hope there is snow for Christmas!
So gorgeous. I love living in Utah for that reason right there.
Hey, I don't have your email, so this is the email I sent out to a few people. I know you don't have kids (but some of these activities are fun for adults too), and I'm sure your schedule won't allow it, but I thought I'd invite you anyway, cuz I lova ya :)!

Hello all,
I can really be a loser mom sometimes. Why do you ask this? Because, due to my laziness, Lydia spends a lot of time in the house rather than out doing things and socializing with other kids.
On that note, I've decided to do something fun every day next week in celebration of Lydia's 2nd birthday, which is next Thursday, the 16th. So here is the schedule and we would love it if you could come to any of the following activities. And If you can or want to, please come to all of them. The more the merrier. What fun is it for a kid to celebrate without any other kids around?

Hope to see you all next week,
Erin
