So here it is - the Rivers and Monica Pentico blog. Lame, I know, but I enjoy reading others blogs so I thought that we would get in on the fun. A little background on the "Rivonica" name. Back when Rivers and I were first dating we went over to Grama and Grampa Naegle's for the usual Sunday evening gathering. A group of us wanted to play some card games and since there were so many people we decided to play in teams. Sorry if the credit is being misplaced but if I can remember correctly it was Natalie and Danny that were coming up with the names. Rivers and I were working together......Rivers......Monica..........Rivonica :) Monivers was the other option but I think you would all agree that Rivonica rolls off the tongue better. I believe Danny and Natalie were "Danat" . Recently, while we were in Hurricane for Christmas the girls brought it up again and they were giving everyone names. There you have it. Actually, I really like the name and think it makes for a good blog title.
