I recently got introduced to the wonderful world of blogging by a friend of mine. Since then I have had fun linking to and reading other peoples blogs. It was neat to find links to old high school friends and see what they are up to. Because, I am so bad at keeping in touch with people and we didn't even get out one of those yearly Christmas letters, indulge me while I do a quick recap on us. Sadly, I must admit that while reading some of my old friends blogs, I realize that I have had no idea where they lived, worked, or what there new last names are. So Keep in mind that although, I love talking about "us" and posting pictures of "us", really I am just attempting to avoid the awkward introductions when you run into each other after 5 years and can't remember your friends spouses name.
Rivers and I have been married almost 3 years, no kids yet(just thought I would get that out there now). We are living in Sandy and Rivers is attending school full-time plus working. I nanny for two kids (a little girl 18 mo. and a boy 20 mo.) each from a different family. They are adorable. I will get some pictures up of them. It is a pretty good job, I love the kids and it is really convenient that Rivers and I can live in their basement apartment. Pretty, great when you can sleep until ten minutes before work and then just run upstairs in your PJ's. Anyway, it gives us the extra money we need while Rivers is in school. As it was only last year that He went back to school we figure we have 3 more years to go. He is getting a degree through Weber State in Construction Management, but taking classes through the university center at SLCC. Right now he is really busy, but we have our weekends together. Also, we took a few little trips this past year and I posted a few slide shows. Enjoy.
Oh yeah, by the way my new last name is Pentico.
