Here are 10 Random things that you may or may not know about me.
1. I am a certified PADI scuba diver, however, the last time I went diving was the summer between my Jr. and Sr. year in High School. It was in Cozumel, Mexico. After, that I never really had the opportunity to go, but I am really excited that Rivers is going to get certified and we can go together down in Costa Rica.
2. Rivers and I want to learn how to drift, race, and own really fast foreign cars. Most likely, we will start out with some Japanese made cars.
3. Unfortunately, I must admit that I have eaten blood in a variety of forms. Curdled, pudding, and any other way that the Taiwanese prepared chicken blood. Disgusting, I know.
4. Once, Rivers is done with school we want to move to Asia and adopt a little Chinese baby girl.
5. I used to love, love, love riding sport quads. At one point I even had a secret dream to be sponsored and show all the guys how good us gals could ride. Things change, life goes on, and we no longer have 3 nights a week and all day Saturday to devote to the perfecting of our atv handling skills.
6. I am however, very excited that we bought a truck and will be bringing our four-wheelers up here. Now we will be able to go more often, and who knows, maybe my dream will come true after all.
7. I love to sleep, I must admit that I try to get close to 9 hours a night (and usually succeed). Rivers and my younger sister Lisa could also attest to the fact that I have an annoyingly meticulous bedtime routine. The fluffing of the pillow, the turning down of the sheets, the last minute potty run, and the perfect positioning of my body on the bed all add to a sometimes frustrating "Good Night". Oh yeah, and you better not mess up the covers after I get situated, that wouldn't be in your best interest.
8. I wish that I could be better organized and be a better homemaker. Rivers has had to eat to much take out and admittedly that is my fault. I actually, attended a cooking class "Once a month cooking" through the community to try to get more ideas and recipes. But after two hours of a power point presentation I felt frustrated that I was supposed to go home and find all the "freezer friendly" recipes on my own. - I thought that is what the purpose of the class was.
9. One day I want to live in Kentucky or Tennessee on a horse ranch in a plantation style home with a deck all the way around the two story house. Pasteur's and fields, a motocross track, a BBQ on the back porch, and a little fishing stream where Rivers can teach the little ones how to fish. :) In a perfect world, right.
10. Someday, I want to put a thumbtack on our world map of all the locations that we have visited. The places we still need to go. Australia and New Zealand, Africa (to hunt crocodiles and see the gorillas), Dubai, Thailand, and Italy.
That was harder than I thought it would be. Okay so I am tagging Natalie, Lindsay, and Dianna.

I love number 7!! Oh, the good old days of sharing a room. Since I am the little sister I did try to see if fluffing my pillow before bed, and making the bed before I slept in it, and closing my eyes to picture the earth (like from space), then focusing the on US, then seeing a farm, and then eventually focusing in on one little kernal of corn, would help me sleep better, it never did for me what it does for Monica. It was always entertaining at least!!
I have to say you are the most interesting person I know. I didn't shaft your tag...I just haven't though of ten things to write yet.
Yikes blood! Eww.
You should definately do the map thing. My dad used to have a map of the US up in Jason's room and we'd mark the places we went. We would also mark the routes taken.
When I was in Israel, I did the same thing...marked all the roads and places I saw on a map. By the end you could see I'd covered Israel top to bottom and east to west.
This is a great list.
Okay, I did it.
Hey Monica! You and Rivers are so cute! I love your list! Good blog, too. We need to get all the HHS alumni girls up here to get together, yeah? :)Sara, Sondra, Esther, Tara, Raina, Jamie, etc...
