Our Weekend: Friday night had an awesome date. I actually got all dressed up (which doesn't always happen). We shared some southwestern egg rolls and the Monterey Chicken Entree at Chili's. If you haven't tried their egg rolls, I highly recommend them. Here is something worth mentioning-it was the Jazz game that night and Rivers didn't sneak a peak at the T.V. once, we really had a nice conversation over dinner. Then we payed matinee pricing to see the 9:15pm showing of Iron Man at Jordan Commons. (Which, by the way, was surprisingly good) When I went to order our tickets from the little kiosk it charged us the matinee pricing--soooo with the $2.00 that we saved we got a shake. Yummy! Driving home from the movie in the car our make out session got rudely interrupted by the car next to us. (They were just jealous) the perks of being married. Just so you know we drove straight home put on our flannel button up PJ's and zonked out the instant our heads hit the pillows---or at least that's the PG version. :)
The rest of the weekend was spent going to a yard sale, spending time at Barnes & Noble, Rivers doing homework and me planning our upcoming vacations, trying on clothes at old Navy but not purchasing anything, going to Ogden to mow the lawn and prune the tree, ended up buying a - too expensive - lawn mower, sanding and painting our trailer, and being more exhausted at the end of the weekend than at the beginning.

I am so glad you posted a new entry on your blog. I needed a little pick-me-up this morning and as always, your blog made me smile.
You are too funny! I'm glad you had an eventful weekend.. I really hope you guys come out this weekend!
Awesome weekend! I love those date nights and make out sessions :)
A lawnmower? Are you guys grown up or what! btw, I got your email about the green shoes and I just have been too busy to think very far ahead. It turns out that the green is pretty hard to match everyone (my mom's been searching for all the little girls) and I would kindof like to find a second choice on the shirts... you know, since lime is everywhere. So, I'm still keeping an eye out for something else. There is a cute green dress at Maternity Gap- too bad my time has passed :) But, I thought I would look for a green sweater/shrug of some kind to wear over my black dress since I don't even have a black skirt. This might have been good email info instead of comment info. I'll call you.
I think you should have given them an even BETTER show in the car.
Sad that my weekend too is filled with lawn mower excitement.
Haha! "PG version" And I agree, you SO should've outdone the other couple. ;) Sounds like a good weekend! Oh and we still need to get us alumni chicks up here together for lunch huh?
